Mint Brownies 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup butter 4 eggs 1 1/2 cup Hershey or Nesquick chocolate syrup 1 1/4 cup flour 3/4 cup nuts if desired Beat sugar, butter & eggs until fluffy. Add chocolate syrup and flour. Mix well. Add nuts and stir. Bake in greased 8x13 pan at 350 F for 25 minutes (or at 185 C Unterhitze for approximately 30 minutes) Do not overbake. Optional mint layer: 3 cups powdered sugar 3/4 cup butter 3 tsp mint flavoring Combine mint layer ingredients and beat until creamy. Spread over brownies once they are cooled.
