Zippy Tortillas Filling Ingredients: 8 oz. sour cream 8 oz. cream cheese Season salt to taste Garlic powder to taste Mix together and spread on about 6 flour tortillas. Topping Ingredients: 4 oz. can chopped green chilies 1 c. grated cheddar cheese ˝ c. chopped green onions 4 oz. sliced black olives, drained Scatter over filling and roll up. Chill for several hours and slice. Note: I used toothpicks to help keep them together and be more “user” friendly. Also, I used 200g sauer rahme and 200g frische kase in the filling—I think German Frische Kase is not as firm as American cream cheese (possibly), because it didn’t firm up as much as I would have liked. The Frische Kase said there was yoghurt in it (?) so maybe that was the problem. Anyway, it worked out fine with the toothpicks, so no problem. The filling would be enough for 8 tortillas, but the topping amounts only fit on 6 tortillas. Be careful not to put too many toppings on a tortilla, or it will be VERY challenging to roll them up! It was helpful to use a serrated edge knife, although the recipe suggested an electric knife. Garnish/Serving ideas: I used toothpicks for the pieces and tomato slices around the edge of the dish for color.
